Chorlton Water Park Review July 2004
You know summerÌs here when mid July sees the beginning of UYAS and Water Adventure Centre (WAC) working together at Chorlton Water Park. UYAS provides the colour while WAC supplies the wetsuits!
For a number of years now, UYAS has created a number of positive activities for young people to get involved in, all year round, with our summer scheme being no exception. Chorlton water Park has become a haven of colour and fun for young people wanting to get a taste of what UYAS is all about, during the long summer months.
Chorlton Water Park saw at least 50 young people, everyday, participating in canoeing on the lake and different arts activities supplied by UYAS. The sun was shining and a little wind blowing in the right direction aided in the kite making production line, created by UYAS artists, with young people setting the skyÌs alight with their fantastic colourful creations, running up and down hills smiling and laughing. We can conclude yet another successful summer in Chorlton Water Park.
