Whatever art form youre interested in, whatever your ability, Arts Award fits you.
You can do an Arts Award in any area of the arts from fashion to poetry, rapping to dancing, sculpture to film. Unity artists come with a wide range of skills from varied backgrounds.
You can be the creator or performer of your own work, or develop your skills in essential roles like arts marketing.
CREATIVE FLEXIBLE AND VALUABLE AND OFFERED AT FIVE LEVELS.
Arts Award can usually fit around your other commitments, and you can do your Arts Award with Unity Arts at South Vision - Fielden Park M20, Chorlton High School Music Makers M21, Manchester PRU city-wide, and with Unity youth & community group partners like OMYOP Withington....
Currently, the award can be achieved with Unity at three levels Bronze, Silver or Gold levels, each of which allows you to focus on a single art form or a range of different ones. We are also introducing the Discover and Explore levels at some point in the future.
Youll end up with a portfolio or arts log that shows off your creativity and gives you a recognised national qualification or award to put on your CV.
Youll need to: take part in different arts activities, be inspired by artists and arts organisations, experience arts events, share your arts skills with others, put together a portfolio or log in your own choice of format
And for Silver and Gold you'll also get to: set yourself arts challenges, organise your own projects, research arts careers and the arts sector with Unity's support and guidance.
